I'm Sam — half-Peruvian, fully San Franciscan, and professionally obsessed with turning raw, messy data into things that are actually useful to people.

By day I'm a data analyst. By night I'm usually building something, dancing West Coast Swing, or trying to find the most interesting thing happening in the city this weekend.

That last one is why I built Sammy Sidequest. SF has more going on than any single calendar can capture — underground shows, niche workshops, weird little events that only the right people know about. I wanted something that could find all of it and filter it down to the stuff that actually fits your taste.

I care about making things that are honest, useful, and a little bit delightful. That's the bar I hold myself to.
